Mossbreak / Mauveine
Surface tensions, near and far. Mossed stone becomes sculptural edifice, as breaking waves suffuse the fogged distance. Split fields emerge in a bifocal composition. Mauveine is the first synthetic aniline dye (invented 1856, William Perkin), from which mauve is derived.
