Ley Lines
"Ley Lines," from the series, "Late Shifts." Transit lines intersect by a central train yard, New York City. Mists and rain puddles refract colorful light casts as far as the eye (or lens) can see. "Ley Line(s)" was coined by Alfred Watkins, 1921, who identified apparent alignments of geographical, historical and spiritual interest, such as ancient monuments. In "Early British Trackways" and "The Old Straight Track," he sought to identify prehistoric trackways in the British landscape.
