New Surfaces: Acrylic, Metal, Kozo, Linen

A range of new and elegant surfaces are now offered that emphasize unique image and room properties. Both Metal and Acrylic Editions are now produced via Saatchi Art:

Daniel M. Freed on Saatchi Art

-Acrylic is a face-mounted plexi with polished edges, ready-to-hang on French-mounted cleats.

-Metal is pigment-infused, resistant aluminum with an ultra-hard, smooth surface. Ready-to-hang with inset exhibition mounting frame.

In addition to the many fine Limited Editions produced on superb Hahnemuehle FineArt GmbH papers from Germany, Limited Editions are also occasionally offered in exclusive materials including:

-Japanese Kozo Paper, by Epson Europe: A translucent, natural fiber, mulberry-based inkjet media. This paper bears some resemblance to the excellent Awagami Factory papers, but retains an exceptional saturation point, deep black levels and excellent durability.

-Belgian Linen, by Breathing Color.  A dynamic, ecologically sustainable surface that imbues images with elegance and depth. The delicate texture retains superb saturation. Manufactured for centuries, this archival material has been favored by painters including Matisse, Van Gogh and Dali. Belgian Linen is featured for gallery wrap pieces -- ready-to-hang without a glass frame.
